Returned to Quorn in the latter half of last season after playing over 100 games for near neighbours Loughborough Dynamo. Very experienced, regarded as one of the best keepers in our League. Ex Leicester City Apprentice.

James Peryer

Pez has skippered the successful Reserve side for the last couple of seasons and qualifies for the title veteran because he is Quorn's longest serving player but still only 25 and has a lot to offer for many more years.

Signed last season from Rugby Town - Left sided player equally at home in defence or attack, previous other clubs include Hucknall Town and Stevenage Borough.

Young goalkeeper learning his trade in the Reserves. Has featured in the first team as a central defender in the MFA, when appearing regularly for Quorn U18's.

Lewis,like Tom Weaver joined the club at an early age and has showed an eagerness to learn, improving all the time and looking to progress further, first class attitude and is one to watch for the future.

Another young player invited to join the club and has the potential at such a young age to go a long way.

Another youth team product. A diligent centre forward performer who can score goals and looks to bring others into play when in possession.

One for the future, midfield playmaker, made his debut for the reserves 2 years ago at the age of 16. Can perform up front, notching 1 hat-trick last year for the Reserves and scoring other vital quality goals. Continues to make strides and will make the breakthrough sooner rather than later.

Experienced Midfield Player who had played at Quorn when a youngster. Previous Clubs include Lincoln, Grantham and Hednesford. Signed last season from Southwell City.

Sam Wood
Defence/Midfield

Previous clubs Burton Albion and Leek Town. A midfield player with a great engine who has also played for Hednesford Town. Overcame serious injury in 2008 before he joined Quorn and settled well with his stylish midfield play can also play as a defender.

Grant Wright
Goalkeeper

Young goalkeeper who was on the books of Nottingham Forest and also Cambridge City academy, still learning his trade but already shows great promise and goalkeeping talent that belies his tender years.


Management Team

Dougie Keast
Manager

Dougie makes a welcome return for his second spell at Quorn, having gained further experience managing at Loughborough Dynamo, Corby and Stamford Town. His distinguished playing career covered 10 years at Kettering Town, Rushden & Diamonds for 2 years, and Burton Albion for 2 years. A member of Quorn’s Senior League Premier Championship Team of 2000/01 he went on to become the club’s Player/Manager in the Midland Football Alliance League. He has a wealth of experience to pass on to both young and senior players.

Mickie Cotter
Assistant Manager

Spent a number of seasons at Quorn assisting Dougie, as well as playing up front where his ability to hold the ball up well bringing other players into play and score the occasional goal endeared him to the Quorn faithful. Previous clubs include Welling United, Dover Athletic, Gravesend, Burton Albion, Tamworth, and Worcester City.

Michael Payne
Goalkeeper/Coach

Experienced goalkeeper whose previous clubs include Rugby Town, Racing Club Warwick and Solihull Borough. A great character both on and off the field.

Simon Ward
Physio

Simon is an experienced therapist with over 15 years experience of working in professional and non-league football. Some of the clubs Simon has worked for include Wolves, Crewe Alexandra, Shrewsbury Town and Rugby Town.
